now I can concentrate on the important things in life, like writing fanfic.
Lol, careful - it's a slippery slope to addiction. ;)
*reads fic*
Awww, poor Dean! I was practically raised on boats and I've never been seasick myself, but I've seen plenty of people go through it. Blech. (Tell him next time to just jump in the water - fixes it right up! Lol.)
"Wanna dance?" Sam grinned mischeviously.
Cute. ♥
I liked the little reflective moments in this. also it feels like s2 era fic to me, which is always so snuggly and relatively angst-less. *happy sigh*
You said you were new at the lj thing, right?
The first thing you'll want to learn about the coding is how to do a cut. You put long entries behind them so your friends list doesn't have to scroll past a whole story when they are checking entries. Also good for hiding spoilers, personal info people may want to skip, and long picture posts. :)
If you are making the entry under the rich text editor, there is an lj cut button on the toolbar. You just highlight the text you want to hide and hit the cut button, then a window will pop up asking you to put the cut text (for a fic, it would usually be the title), and ~voila~!
If you are making the entry under the html editor, you can code the cut into your text by putting at the start of your story, and at the end.
I'm not a good explainer, but hopefully that helps. ;)
